A little introduction: completely random post.

Left: Hoodie, Right: Champers

Hi everyone. I need to introduce you to some friends of mine. My little rattie boys, Hoodie and Champers. I I bought them in August when they were little pups and after reading a post on Life is Beautiful about her pet rat passing, I thought I needed to do a post about them.
I know you are probably thinking eww rats but these are domestic rats so they don't carry the plague. I have two boys, Hoodie and Champers, Hoodie being the small, curious, I think-he-might-be-a-girl boy. Whereas Champers is the dominant crazy, pee everywhere Himalayan, fat rat.  I named the by what they look like, Hoddie has a black hood on and Champers is or was a champagne colour. Currently Champers is dominating a Celebrations box and Hoodie is playing on the keypad.
Anyway sorry about the randomness.

  4. Hiya! I just discovered your blog and I love it! I'm gonna follow :).

But, just a little warning, I have 2 gerbils (both girls), and I had to read a lot of books about them. And I found out, you should NEVER keep two male rodents in the same cage! They are very territorial, and they will fight with each other, or worse, kill each other. Just telling you, so you don't walk into the room and find a sad surprise.

Btw, they are adorable!!! I'm in love with all rodents xD.

    1. Thanks for your follow and advice. They do fight a bit but, it's never anything to serious. I listened to this thing on the radio that scientists have discovered when a rat squeaks they are laughing! So at least I know they are enjoying it! I'll keep an eye out for them, thanks. xx
