So theres gunna be a lot more of these blogging tip posts coming up. I've noticiced in loads of magazines, blogging has suddenly become the highlight of each issue. The January issue of Company Magazine was #thesuperblogger issue. With bloggers such as, Sussie Bubble, Ophelia Horton (Yes she visited my blog!) and Carie Harwood to name a few. I've decided to round up their section of the anatomy of a blog. In other words:
HOW TO MAKE YOUR BLOG LOOK, LIKE TOTALLY AWESOME.
Tip 1: Have a good consistent blog name.
People are more likely to check out your blog if it has a memorable name! If your URL is something like theawesomeprincessesandothercluelessness.blogspot.com then, you're unlikely to get many people searching your blog up there.
Tip 2: Short post titles.
Again, if its a long title people might get put off. I know, I can talk...
Tip 3: Clear fonts, fonts, fonts.
If you have a crazy font such as Jokerman, it can be hard to read so, clear fonts are best when it comes to reading your posts. You can always personalise your blog in the header or your layout!
Tip 4: Always have the follower buttons and contact buttons.
If say, some really cool blogger visits your blog and they want to collab with you, if they cant email you then, your chanceis blown.
Tip 5: Clear photos.
I don't know about you but when I first visit a blog I look at the header, then the photos. So if the photos are blurry or all pixalated, it can be a bit annoying.
Nonetheless, its all about the content! So, make sure that is the best part!
