D.I.Y: Newspaper Nails.

 You will need:
Newspaper
Scissors
A bowl/jug of water
A pale pink or white nail vanish to go underneath (I got mine from Avon, but I cant remember how much it was...)
A top coat ( Mine isn't actually a top coat its a nail polish from Claire's that glows under UV light its awesome. My actual top coat is way to old.)
Paint your nails with a base-coat of either white or another light colour.
Cut a piece of newspaper to the size of your nail, you can adjust it when its wet but it makes it easier to do it before.
Dip the paper into the water but make sure it isn't completely drenched. Avoid getting your fingers wet too, its hard to do the next step with wet fingers!
Put the wet paper onto your nail and position it right. It may move around a bit so hold it on the nail for a while. Once you have positioned it, apply the top-coat. Make sure you put two coats on as other wise it will come off when you wash your hands.
When you do wash your hands its pretty cool, it gets wet but stays under the over-coat then drys...
Ta-da! There are your nails! I had wanted to try this out for a while after a friend told me about it. I may have done it a different way to other tutorials but, I didn't use a tutorial for this. I just made it up with my noggin.  I know I'm not the best at nails but it's given me a lot of ideas for nail D.I.Y's. I hope you like it and give it a go. It's fairly easy, the only hard bit is cutting the newspaper to the right size! Lexie x
